Randall C. Smith, MD

Dr. Randall C. Smith graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego before receiving his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Utah and his residency in anesthesia at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, he completed a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia also at the University of California, San Francisco.

A board-certified physician, he joined Bend Anesthesiology Group in 1997, and served as past-president for the practice. Dr. Smith is a member of the Oregon Society of Anesthesiology (OSA), the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA), the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS), and the Central Oregon Medical Society. He is committed to promoting positive growth in healthcare in Central Oregon. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. His interests include skiing, skijoring, windsurfing, surfing, running, and biking.
