John E. Meyer, MD

Dr. John Meyer worked as a civil engineer in Wyoming for several years before beginning his career in medicine, earning his BS in Geological Engineering from the University of Idaho and his MS in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed his internship and residency in Anesthesiology from Oregon Health and Science University, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Meyer joined the Bend Anesthesiology Group in 2018. He is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Oregon Society of Anesthesiologists. Away from the hospital, he enjoys time outside with his wife and two children, skiing, fly fishing, upland bird hunting, and paddling.
