Joanna Olsen, MD

Joanna Olsen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Williams College and then her MD and PhD degrees at the University of Rochester before making her way to the Pacific NW.  She completed her internship and residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. She is board certified in Anesthesiology and in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Olsen joined Bend Anesthesiology group in 2021, after practicing at OHSU. She is a member of the  American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), Oregon Society of Anesthesiology (OSA), and the Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists (SOCCA). Outside of the hospital, she can be found enjoying time outdoors with her husband and two sons, running, skiing, traveling and cooking.
